Company History:

In 1960, John E. Finney started The Finney Company in the basement of his Chicago home.

John used his years of experience as a salesman for Autopoint Pen & Pencil and as national sales manager for Industrial Jewelry Manufacturing, not to mention the support of his wife Leona, current owner and C.E.O., and the enthusiasm of his young son Donald.  Their first catalog filing system was on the top of the family pool table.  Donald B. Finney joined the company full-time in 1968.

In 1969, the company moved to it's current location at 4301 N. Milwaukee Ave., where John founded and was the first president of the Promotional Products Association of Chicago, the local chapter of the Promotional Products Association International.

After many years of success and growth, in 1990 The Finney Company took it's next major step and joined with Sandy Gillman, a successful Florida ad specialties salesperson, and created Gillman & Finney in Altamonte Springs, Florida.  By 1995, The Finney Company had its 3 ^rd generation selling creative ideas and taking them into the future.

Now, the internet brings a chance for The Finney Company to take it's next leap in reaching new people nationwide, promoting new businesses & products, and forging new relationships.
